Like other similar cases I decided my handlename by chance. I liked to have that famous car some day at that time, therefore mercedo, I slightly changed the end of the word as usually Japanese people do ( in Japanese pronunciation always consonant plus vowel). But probably mercedo is derived from mercy which connotes good meaning.
